Shortly after Dan passed away, the vision of building a chapel in his memory at Golden Bell Camp and Conference Center was born among his family and friends.

Our hope for eternal life lies in the resurrection power of Jesus Christ and His righteousness. In Matthew 28, verses 19 and 20, Jesus tells his followers (us) to 'Go and make disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you'. This command is one Dan took very seriously, it also drives the work at Golden Bell. We believe that in Dan's passing, his earthly work should go on. We believe God has called us to this project and ask that you pray for similar leading.

This 400-seat chapel will be a center for camp activities and give campers and guests a meeting place to learn and share about Jesus Christ and the hope He brings for lives of all ages. Nestled in the heart of the Golden Bell property, the chapel will rest among groves of aspen trees with a panoramic view of Pike's Peak to the southeast. this carefully designed structure will be architecturally pleasing and provide a peaceful sanctuary for all.

Funding for this project is coming from the faithful people who believe in the work that Golden Bell is doing to point young people to Jesus Christ and renew and provide strength for lives of all ages to shine for Him.

In memory of Dan and to help bolster the Kingdom work of Golden Bell, The Walker family has provided a substantial gift to start the initial funding for this project.

We ask for you to prayerfully consider your gift to this project and to the eternal work that has been left for us in Dan's memory.

Hope...

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials...
