Dan served as an activity director at Golden Bell Camp & Conference Center in Divide Colorado.

'Golden Bell was established for the purpose of winning souls to Jesus Christ through the spreading of the Gospel, the edifying (building up) of the believers through the preaching end teaching of the Word of God, and the evangelizing of campers through witnessing and missions. The method of reaching these goals or purpose shall include all areas of service and worship that are in agreement with the principles In God's Word, the Holy Bible until Jesus comes.'

Dan and his family served with Extreme Nazarene in Peru. His family served again in September 2008.

Extreme Nazarene Ministries exists to seek and deploy people into an Extreme expansion of God's Kingdom. Extreme seeks to find unmet, complex needs all around the world and match the need with the talent and resources available through the worldwide Church. Since 2005, Extreme has deployed over 1,000 people to Ukraine and Argentina to engage in high-impact short-term and career mission work. Through its international projects, Extreme has raised over $3,000,000 for compassion, discipleship and evangelism. Extreme has planted 11 churches, built 80,000 square ft of Kingdom-expanding structures, started micro-businesses and trained dozens of church leaders to further God's work.
